JMC was honored to be a part of the Chicago premiere of the reading of a new musical: Signs Of Life, at the Victory Gardens Theater.


    JMC most recently starred as Bobby in William Street Repertory Theater’s production of

Stephen Sondheim’s COMPANY.


    JMC was among the World Premiere cast of the new stage musical For the Boys (based on the movie of the same name) at the Marriott Lincolnshire Theater in Lincolnshire, IL.  He was thrilled to be make his debut at this theater.

May, 2011

    JMC jumped into the role of Kenickie (for just 2 performances) in the Jeff Award winning production of The Original Grease at American Theater Company.  He learned the role in a week...It was thrilling and the cast was amazing.


APRIL 2, 2011 

    JMC was honored to, once again, be asked by his friends at the Open Door Clinic to be a special guest performer at their All Things Chocolate Fundraiser which was held at St. Charles Country Club.

NOVEMBER 18, 2010

   This one-night-only event stared JMC as the incomparable Cole Porter in a review called, what else? The Songs Of Cole Porter.  It was presented as a memory piece with Cole going through a scrapbook of reviews (both good and bad) and reminiscing about the songs he’s written.

    JMC was a special guest singer with The Bronx Wanderers at the Arcada Theatre in St. Charles.


OCTOBER 11, 2010

    JMC is proud to have been a part of Cabaret for a Cause: A Benefit for the Open Door Clinic which was held at Metropolis Performing Arts Center. 


AUGUST, 2010

    JMC appeared in the Ravinia Festival’s production of Annie, Get Your Gun starring Broadway stars and Tony Award winners Patti LuPone, George Hearn! It was a career highlight for John to be a part of such a wonderful production under the direction of Broadway’s finest talents:  Director, Lonnie Price, Musical Director, Paul Gemignani and Choreographer, Josh Rhodes.


On November 26, 2011, John was one of the recipients of the David Award given by

the Italian Sons & Daughters of America as ‘an individual of Italian heritage displaying

professional leadership in the field of Entertainment.’

The awards ceremony was held on November 26 at Alta Villa Banquets in Addison, IL.
